Checking in + Updates: Donations, New Class for Wednesday, and Morning Classes in April!



Wow, how are we already a week into March?! Spring is coming and I am so excited for it. While I do have some updates for you, I wanted to check in with you first.


How is your heart?


There is a lot going on in the world right now and we are already dealing with so much - the past 2+ years have been really challenging for a lot of us. I wanted to just hold some space for that right now and give you an opportunity to share what is on your heart, if you need someone to talk to or just someone to listen - I am here.


Donations


You may have noticed a PayPal Donation link on the top bar on my website. I plan on using this for 2 main reasons.

  1. I know that there are some folks out there who would really benefit from attending classes, but it is not in their budget. I would like to be able to offer a 5 Class Pass to someone deserving of movement and mindfulness, but does not have the funds to do so. If you would like to nominate someone for this please send me an email! You can donate to the fund and when I reach $100 I will choose someone from the nominations to gift the 5 Class Pass to. The recipient will of course be kept confidential, but I will be completely transparent with when it is put toward a Class Pass Scholarship, if you will :)

  2. I would like to have a quarterly donation to a few local charities and foundations. Every quarter I will collect the funds and donate them to the selected charity. For example: the Food Bank, Humane Society, etc.


So, if you wish to donate to either option, please ensure you leave a note if you have a preference of where that money is going to - option 1 or 2 from above. I will create receipts for donations over $25.


Schedule Update


You may have seen the update on social media, but I have changed the class schedule for Wednesday's. The interest right now really seems to be the Functional Movement classes - which makes me really happy! I am so excited that you are loving them! So the 7:30pm class on Wednesdays, starting Wed March 16th, will now be a Functional Movement class.


If you have been wanting to attend, but there hasn't been any space - Monday + Thursday classes are sold out for March and much of April - you can join in on Wednesday now!


As always, the way to save is by purchasing a 5 or 10 Class Pass, so if you are interested just send me an email and we can get you scheduled! Pricing questions are answered here.

Morning Classes


After some great conversations with you all it looks like Monday mornings at 6:30am and 8:00am are the winners for our Rise + Shine: Empower Me classes! We will be starting these in April!


Class Description: "This 1 Hour Class is a blend of Movement, Mindfulness, and Meditation offered at 6:30am and 8:00am for the early riser. This class is for you if you like to have some time to yourself in the mornings to wake up the body with purposeful movement and get your mind on the right track with guided meditation and words of affirmation - strengthen the body and the mind. Think of this class as your 1 hour EMPOWERMENT session. Bring your yoga mat and water!"
